Linden Jay is the jazz trained North Londoner who studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music and has had releases as producer and songwriter with an array of artists as diverse as Joji, Erick The Architect, Duke Dumont, Sinead Harnett, Jay Prince, Rejjie Snow, Lion Babe, RITUAL and Flatbush Zombies. Recent studio collaborations include Loyle Carner, Bas, Chloe x Halle, Maverick Sabre, Reuben James, Nick Hakim, A-Trak and James Bay.
Most recently, Linden executive produced and co-write Erick The Architect's debut 5 track EP 'Future Proof' which features guest appearances from Linden himself as well as FARR, Loyle Carner, Sophie Faith, Pip Millet and Col3trane.
In 2018, Linden released a 16-track beat-tape entitled 'So I Don't Forget, Vol.1 ', exhibiting his boundary-pushing production skills and sound design with all tracks produced, mixed and mastered and artwork by himself. And with over 250,000 downloads of his sample packs on Splice.com, Linden’s name and signature sounds have become synonymous with producers globally.
FARR, the band formed between Linden and Romeo Testa in 2017, showcases Linden's ability to seamlessly weave electronic, soul and indie influences into a cohesive project. FARR's releases to date have accumulating over 20 million streams, #1’s on Hype Machine and plays across Beats 1, BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra. In 2019, the band supported Australian heavyweight Hayden James on his world tour and and started off their 2020 with the release of their debut album 'Weightless' and a European tour supporting Kelis which was sadly cut short by the global pandemic.
As an engineer, Linden’s credits include The Prodigy’s 2018 #1 album No Tourists.
In 2019, Linden was recognised by the UK's PRS Foundation as an exciting emerging talent and was awarded a grant from their prestigious Writer Producer Fund. Linden was also Head of Audio/Production for the closing ceremony performance at the World Economic Forum in Davos 2020 with R100 Studios and Reeps One.
